o2 created a series of non-traditional, interactive billboards for The Ford Motor Company at Detroit’s Ford Field and Houston’s NRG Stadium. The billboards were designed to engage viewers in unique and personal ways creating fun, emotional connections with the products.
The butterfly effect.
One of the billboards, for example, expresses the sensation of being in a Mustang convertible with flowing air and heat from the sun. Another billboard uses sensors to simulate a giant mood ring – changing the color of a Ford Flex based on the viewer’s body temperature. A third literally places the viewer into the vehicle with an image capture displayed on a plasma screen behind the graphic.
